From my idea to your jewelry
From the first small idea to sketches, 3D work, casting, and every single step performed by hand, I am carefully involved throughout the entire process. What matters most to me is that each piece of jewelry is created with care and consideration, and that no two will ever be exactly alike. 🔨🎨
Step 1: Design
At Abelstedt, we ensure to set the standard for the ultimate, finest look. Abelstedt strives for an exclusive look in every single design.
Each creation of an Abelstedt piece begins with a handmade draft in a detailed design. This allows our skilled graphic designers to understand and convey every detail in an illustrated 3D model (CAD).
Step 2: The Craft
After the design process, a mold is constructed from CAD and sketches. All Abelstedt pieces are made from precious metal sterling silver (925) or 14-18 karat gold or white gold.
After the mold is adjusted, it is polished to create a shiny surface, which is further coated with rhodium. The sparkling stones are set with a steady hand. Each stone is glued and then set in a way most appropriate for the design, ensuring the stone is securely in place.
Step 3: Final adjustment
After every single detail of the jewellery has been carefully examined, each piece is quality tested to ensure it lives up to Abelstedt's philosophy of thorough craftsmanship. The jewellery is laser engraved with Abelstedt's trademark as well as 925 or 14-18K to indicate the highest quality standard for the jewellery's foundation.
The jewellery then leaves the workshop to be presented with joy and amazement from designer, to artisan, to you.
